Alhambra

The Albaicín is one of Granada’s most charming neighborhoods. A World Heritage Site, it’s worth venturing into its narrow streets to enjoy its charm, tapas bars and the spectacular views from the San Nicolás Viewpoint.
La Alcaicería
The Alcaicería is the name given to markets permitted to trade silk in the cities of al-Andalus. This former Arab bazaar, along with Seville’s, was one of the most significant in Spain. Destroyed by a fire in the 19th century, it is now a popular shopping district where you can find souvenirs and traditional Granadan crafts, such as the famous Fajalauza pottery and inlaid woodwork or taracea.

Monastery of San Jerónimo
The origin of this monastery’s construction can be traced to the offer made by the Catholic Monarchs, following the conquest, to the three foremost religious orders—Franciscans, Dominicans and Hieronymites—to establish themselves in the city.
Church and Crypt of Fray Leopoldo de Alpandeire
The “beggar friar,” Brother Leopoldo, dedicated his life to the poor and performed various healings and prophecies that led to his beatification in 2010. Next to the church crypt, there is a small museum where you can see a reproduction of the cell where he lived in the old Capuchin convent and some of his personal belongings.
Manuel de Falla Theater
The iconic theater of Granada that hosts exclusive concerts and premieres. Among its seats, numerous artists from both national and international scenes have performed.
Monastery of La Cartuja
A prime example of Spanish Baroque architecture, the Monastery of Our Lady of the Assumption, also known as La Cartuja de Granada, hosted a community of Carthusian monks from its construction until 1835.
Museum of the Historical Memory of Andalusia
Opened in May 2009, it is the first museum whose exhibits provide a comprehensive as well as specific view of the territory, history and culture of Andalusia. This museum offers a different approach, with a range of audiovisual and interactive tools that allow multiple ways to engage with the past.
Science Park
An interactive museum covering over 70,000 m2, situated a few minutes away from Granada’s historic center, boasting one of Europe’s most varied offerings of cultural and scientific leisure activities.
